BlaqPaks at Riverplace in Portland

BlaqPaks was founded in Kent, Ohio in 2007 as a side project for the founders, who were students at Kent State at the time. In 2010 we made the move to our current home in the Pacific NW city of Portland, Oregon and have never looked back. We opened our first store in 2013 on Division St.

In April of 2019, we moved our store to the SW Portland waterfront at Riverplace. We make all of our backpacks and messenger bags in this one Portland location. We invite you to stop by our workshop and to expect the unexpected. Whether you are looking for a school bag, travel luggage, or something in between, we’ve got bags to meet all your needs.

We share space with the incredible jewelrysmiths of Sahlia Jewelry. We share the belief in handcrafting everything we make under one roof. We also carry brands in our store that represent our shared values, such as the made in Uruguay leather and canvas jackets and bags from Otra Vintage. Stop by when your in Portland and say hi.
